How to Delete Rediffmail Account Permanently?

There are many reasons why email users think of deleting their email accounts. Some users feel threat that their email account will be hacked or compromised. Some users do want to switch to some other email service. Some email users have multiple email accounts and they want to delete email accounts which they don’t further for any use.

If you have a Rediffmail account but it is not in use now, you can delete it permanently once for all.  Unlike many other email services, Rediffmail don’t provides its users option to deactivate Rediffmail account. If the account remains unused for a time of more than 3 months, after that email is removed by Rediffmail from the system for ever.

The procedure to Delete Rediffmail Account Permanently is as given below:

  1. Sign in to your Rediffmail account
  2. Go to your inbox and check all email messages.
  3. Tap on ‘Delete’ button.
  4. And, then tap on ‘Log Out’
  5. Your account will be deleted permanently after three months.  If you will try to login to your Rediffmail account during this period, your account will not be deleted.

What happens when you will delete your Rediffmail account?

Once your Rediffmail account is deleted, your all email settings will be deleted from the system. And you will no longer be able to use email address to send and receive emails. If your mind changes after sometime, you can login and recover your account, but after three months, your account will be deleted permanently form the system. Your email contacts won’t be able to use your email account in the future.  Remember, your Gmail service will be removed not your account. You will still have your purchases and activities you made on Google Play.   If you really want to delete your account from the system, then refrain from logging in to your account.
